New Pick! Vintage Hand-tooled Leather Purse

Vintage Hand-tooled Leather Purse - $40 USD - Free shipping (USPS) within the
continental United States.

This is a family item, made by my father for my mother in the mid 50's, and the
floral motif looks nice. No money in it, just a few cobwebs, and needs to be
cleaned by someone who knows how. It has two additional pockets on the inside,
and one on the back. The strap is adjustable. It does have the initials SS on it, but
don’t let that stand in your way. It measures 4 and 1/2 inches Deep, by 11 and 3/4
inches Wide, by 10 and 3/8 inches High. What you see is what you get.

New Pick! Vintage Powder Tin Music Box

Vintage Powder Tin Music Box - $28 USD - Free shipping (USPS) within the
continental United States.

The patina on this is amazing, the ceramic medallion ( Napoleonic or Victorian,
not sure. ) is in one piece, and the musical mechanism actually works, just like it’s
supposed to! See it working in the video I made for an earlier post. No, I can’t tell
you the name of the song. The powder puff is, of course, missing, but I could see
this as a jewelry box for a lady of distinction.

It measures 4 and 1/4 inches Wide at the base, by 3 and 15/16 inches High. There
are no manufacture’s marks. What you see is what you get.

If you see something you like, it’s first come first served. I only have one of each.

My PayPal Buttons are UP!

And, they’re good to go. I have easy store links to the right for my books, made
my first video, and there’s so much more to do, I’ll just have to keep plucking
away it.

I did yard sell this weekend with my clutter. Mainly it was to help my family with
scouting activities, and people’s hearts were in the right place, because I hardly
sold squat. The stuff for scouting went like gangbusters.

It was a little chilly, I got a nice sunburn on my balding head, plus it gave me a
good idea. Something I’ll have to explore.

Back to work.

This vintage early American decorative item is designed to hold wood matches
and measures 2 and 13/16 inches Long, by 3 and 1/8 inches Wide, by 6 inches
High.

The quality is there, the color is there, and the patina is amazing. It’s dark where it
should be, has a little rust where it should be, and what you see is what you get.
For its age, this has all the quality that made Fulton Corporation a leading
manufacturer of sawhorse products, mailboxes, and workbench drawers for the
home and construction industry.

Why the Cigar Box?

https://www.freewebstore.org/null2938/_Reposado_Cigar_Box/p4143519_16449152.aspx

Perhaps it's because someone can craft with it. This is just one video, part one of three, but you get the idea. You should watch a few of the other videos online, too. Electric, or not, three to six strings. Just part of the WOW life can be!

My Third Month

What isn’t working? Pretty much everything.

Yes, I can pretend I’m a success, fumbling for answers. Or I can admit to you my
failures, and try something else. Which would you prefer?

For some reason my abandoned cart data continues to show an average of five (5)
abandoned carts per day. That’s five possible sales I’m missing out on, per day.
There has to be a reason for that.

Musing with myself, my prices continue to be competitive, overall, with what I’m
finding, using eBay, Etsy, Google Shopping, and Google Images to find out all I
can about other’s products; their quality and condition, and prices, comparatively
speaking.

Realize that even now I offer free shipping and handling within the continental
U.S. No international shipping at this time. When you deduct those shipping and
handling costs from the final price of the product, you, the consumer, you’re
getting a great deal.

Right now I can only come to one real conclusion.

Is my store not letting you buy my products?

My next question would be: Why didn’t anyone say something?

My comments section is open to all, and anonymous comments are welcome.

New Pick! Cobalt Blue Miniature Wine Service for Four, Made in China

https://www.freewebstore.org/null2938/_Cobalt_Blue_Miniature_Wine_Service_for_Four/p4143519_17055008.aspx

Cobalt Blue Miniature Wine Service for Four, Made in China - $50 USD - Free
shipping (USPS) within the continental United States.

I don’t know if this is a vintage pick, but I do know it’s a rare pick. I did three
different image searches, three different months, and found a couple of items that
came close, but not an exact match. I’ll admit it was a tossup between a tea service
for four, or a wine service for four, and I let the warmed wine win. You can see
why. That plus, no sugar bowl or creamer.

Each cup is 1 and 7/16 inches tall, and fluted at the top to be 1 and 3/4 inches
wide. The tray is 6 and 3/4 inches wide, 5 and 1/8 long, and is just shy of 3/4 inch
tall, with about a 1/2 inch inner depth. The pot is 4 inches wide, 2 and 3/4 long,
and with lid, 3 inches high. What you see is what you get.

If you see something you like, it’s first come first served. I only have one of each.

New Pick! 2 Vintage Lavada Folding Child's TV Lap Trays

2 Vintage Lavada folding child's tv lap trays red & white carousel circus motif -
$50 USD - Free shipping (USPS) within the continental United States.

On a scale from 1 to 10, these two trays are a solid 8 1/2! I will let the buyer clean
them up, so lets get down to the measurements. 12 and 3/4 inches tall, by 17 and
½ inches wide, and with the legs out, 6 inches high. These are from the late 50's or
early 60's, when it was okay to sit in front of the tv to eat, because I can remember
them from when I was a kid. Yeah, that dates me, but I cant complain. Nor will
you as the next proud owner.

https://www.freewebstore.org/null2938/_Early-sixties_Great_Britain_Vintage_Singer_Child_s_Sewing_Machine_22851/p4143519_17042746.aspx

Early-sixties Great Britain Vintage Singer Child’s Sewing Machine #22851- $45
USD - Free shipping (USPS) within the continental United States.

It works! Not that I know how to sew, however, what you see is what you get
(minus the fabric and thread). The body is 7 and 3/4 inches long, 4 and 3/8 inches
wide, and sits about 7 inches high with all the stuff sticking out of it. The spool is
on a screw somebody had inserted for that purpose, and I didn’t remove it. It is
fairly clean, and weighs in just shy of 4 lbs.

Sold!

That's right, it's gone!

I really didn't have anything to post until now, but Rips Picks had to leave my other selves alone, and my pen names are gaining ground. I have been promoting my products, and that will never stop, and I'll get more products up and running as soon as I can. I have a long list of things I'm doing, but nothing counts until they're done.

Anyway, that's it, for now.

New Launch!

Oh yes I did! I got The Courtesan - Part Four posted this morning, and now I'm going to
take a week before I start on the next part. I want to bounce a few ideas off myself, and
ramp up the action, and take the sex to a whole new level. I want the next four or five
parts to pop. The book has to have a point to it, a little slice of literary naughty-bad-fun,
where I want the ending of this story to mean something, if even just to me.

Ouch! The words even and just, side by side . . .

Anyway, that's all I got done from my last  post. I'll continue to promote my products,
and I'll keep the deal with the postage, but only for another week or so. Like it or not,
I have to think of me.

If you see something you like, it’s first come first served. I only have one of each.

Now I’m Ready to Post

I’ve been giving a lot of thought to what I’m doing, and how I’m doing it. Don’t
get me wrong, what I did over the holidays with pricing and postage was great if
you were a buyer, however, nobody bought.

I still like the idea of my own store, but maybe I’m not ready for that. Not yet. I
need to sell my picks, but as an individual I may have been too ambitious with this
semi-invisible platform. I also ran out of ad money, right when I needed it the
most. Family needs got in the way of my business needs, at times, but that’s
something I’ll just have to deal with. Now the solutions.

Etsy.com seems to dominate each item I research for quality and price. Google an
item, hit shopping or view images, and the Etsy name stands out above the others.
That’s where I’ll go to get my start. Etsy offers many advantages over Amazon or
Ebay, particularly when dealing with vintage items, or items geared to home
decor. Many sellers offer exchanges or refunds, and many do not. They, like me,
insist all sales are final. The buyers there accept that. That’s good.

Quality seems to be an issue with many buyers. That’s a given. Any and all flaws
in a product must be listed for any potential buyer. In other words, more details are
needed. More pictures, and I’m doing video. I see no reason not to showcase each
pick in a few minutes of video on YouTube.

But, hang on, I’m not up and running yet. In fact, I should stop blogging my plans,
and blog what I got done. List what I managed to accomplish each day, or from
week to week.

Yes, I do talk about things, and then get distracted, and sometimes I forget where
I’m headed. Some of that is due to the meds I take. Realizing this, I decided to
make my lists a mainstay. My To Do list, and my Done list.

I do this for the stories I write, and it helps keep me on target. Now to get this
effort back on track. This site allows others to learn from my mistakes, so I’ll keep
blogging. Why not share what I learn.

The only real thing that surprised me? Zero people took me up on Love Dark. It’s
still available over at Wattpad, and you can still read it for free, registered member
or not. The only thing a registered member can do that a non-registered member
can’t, is comment and/or vote.

I’m almost finished with part four of The Courtesan, so I’ll change the price on
part one, and offer it for free. Right now that serial story seems to be the only thing
working for me.

Enough for now. I got things to do.

If you see something you like, it’s first come first served. I only have one of each.
Read my policies page, sign up to my newsletter, look over my products, and buy
something you love. If not you, someone else will beat you to it.
