Are You Safe?

How do you protect your packages from porch thieves this holiday season? The simplest, and most effective way is to stop mail delivery to your house, and opt in to picking up your packages each day from your post office. Another way is to have your packages rerouted to drop stations, like at what you would find with UPS outlets everywhere. The idea is not to have them left on your porch if you're at work, but to pick them up at a safe location, where you get each and every online purchase you make.

Your purchase address and shipping address would remain the same on my end, but on your end, these same packages go to a safe and secure location for you to receive. Think about it.

If you see something you like, it’s first come first served. I only have one of each. Read my policies page, sign up to my newsletter, look over my products, and buy something you love. If not you, someone else will beat you to it.

And don’t hesitate to read a sample of my many books, and actually buy the book

Two Months Down

In the last month I’ve managed 6082 hits, slightly more than the first month, and
one more sale. The most popular page now is the antique butter mold, followed by the
coin bank, with the vintage post office door.

https://www.freewebstore.org/null2938/_Butter_Mold/p4143519_16449187.aspx

Butter Mold - $45.00 USD - Free shipping (USPS) within the continental United
States. No international sales or shipping at this time.

 Use the Order link above.

Antique (or near antique 100 years old or slightly less) this piece is nice. It looks
amazing.

5 and 5/16" inches long x 3 and 9/16" inches high x 3 and 4/16" wide. This 1 lb.,
antique butter mold, as you can see, has been finely crafted, and has withstood the
effects  of time. The product hasn’t been stripped of its worn and wonderful
patina (which, if you look around the web, is amazing).

This is a sweet display piece for your home decor.

Of course, all of my items are used, but on the store page it lists the condition as new.
Now if I can only figure out how to change that . . .

Updates

My most popular page here has always been the vintage 1950's GE Waffle Maker,
and that’s now gone.

I did make a video as I processed the item, after I confirmed the buyer’s address
was the same as their shipping address. I always confirm the buyer’s addy is the
same as the shipping addy, otherwise I would have to refund their payment. There
are numerous videos out there by various sellers that talk about why the buyer’s
addy should always match their shipping addy, and all of them say it’s for the
seller’s protection.

First I showed the item in the video, then I showed that the item worked when
plugged in. I then boxed it (once it cooled), with cord, showing both in the box,
and used plenty of packing peanuts. After that I showed the mailing labels, which
will not come off the box, being under the packing tape. I then mailed it to the
buyer, and emailed the buyer with the tracking number, and again thanked the
buyer by name. ( Edit: I confirmed delivery, and took a screen shot of the USPS
tracking and confirmation info. )

As for my other news, that long loud scream you might have heard last night was
me. I found a big typo in the first published part of my new line of XXX erotica,
under the pen name Nikki Blood.

Needless to say I fixed the typo, bumped up the sample you can read to 20%, and
now I’m working on part two of this ongoing serial. Right now it's only on Smashwords.

Also, Love Dark now has 38 chapters up. Check them out.

Love Dark for FREE!

This is a chance to read Love Dark for free on Wattpad. I have 34 chapters up so far, with more to come. The reason is simple: I need fans, and I don't write at the speed of wow. Since the novel is complete, I decided to post it chapter by chapter (on Wattpad under the Bastard Black pen name) in the hopes of gaining readers who like my dark fantasy, my urban fantasy, my grimdark fantasy.

Love Dark could be considered grimdark when you factor in how the story is told. I didn't hold back. Actually, I never hold back when it comes to telling a story.

Me in a Nutshell

via GIPHY

My epic fail starts with Google AdSense, because I must be missing something. I don't see any ads. I followed their guide, did all their troubleshooting stuff, and here I sit, broken hearted . . . I'd finish that, but that would negate my clean image.

Project Wonderful seems to working okay, but in doing my own ads, a gift card just isn't going to work. They couldn't tell me why, and neither could PayPal, so I'm on hold. No ads for me.

That's it for any news to post. Poor cat. I know how he feels.

Up Next

I’m still waiting on Google AdSense to finish their review of my site. It's been two weeks.
Chances are I’ll have to prod them a tiny bit. Use their feedback form. It’s all I got.

My Project Wonderful ads are basically on hold. Their idea, not mine, and will
probably stay that way until I get another ad of my own going. I have to see what’s
in the budget for this month. But, I do have an idea.

Everybody, at one time or another, gets and uses gift cards, and there’s always a
buck or two left on them. I’m going to see if I can transfer my extra cash into
PayPal. Use it before I lose it.

I’ve been exploring more options, too. I’ll admit I’ve moved slowly to minimize any
potential mistakes on my part, but it’s time to pick up the pace. I’ll have a few new
items up on the store soon.

On the book side, I do have two books up at Google Play, but the formatting
on the first book leaves a lot to be desired. People advised me to use my D2D
epub files, and they work just fine from what I see in the second book, but the
inside links to my other books, they link back to another store. I’ll have to do
some more experimenting, try to get things straightened out.

EDIT: My Project Wonderful ads are back up and running. I'll stick with the small ad and the banner, just those two, and see what happens. My fault. I somehow erased the code that actually calls PW for an ad to place in the box. Once that was back in place, I reactivated the boxes.
